McKinley received the second‑half kickoff and gave the Bengals a taste of their own medicine, getting their ground game going and punching in another touchdown. Belaire began to regain momentum as they drove into the red zone, but disaster struck when McKinley forced a fumble inside the 20 and recovered it. With a chance to bring the game within one score, the Panthers looked for a big play—and got it—as #15 connected with #1 for a long passing touchdown to make it 26–24.
Belaire responded on their next offensive drive with a long pass to #1, setting them up in the red zone. A few plays later, the Bengals found the end zone on a slant route to extend their lead to 34–24. This was only the beginning of a chaotic fourth quarter. After Belaire’s touchdown, #3 for McKinley delivered a huge return, setting the Panthers up with a golden opportunity. Belaire’s defense forced McKinley into a 4th‑and‑5, but the Panthers converted and scored, cutting the lead to 34–32.

On McKinley’s next offensive drive, they marched into the red zone, but Belaire’s defense came up with a huge turnover, forcing a fumble and recovering it to seal the win.
This game was an absolute battle in the trenches, with both teams doing most of their work on the ground. It was also a great effort from McKinley, who fought back and stayed competitive even when the game seemed to be slipping away.
