DITR: Outside Linebacker, Joshua Price, Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Greenbelt, MD)

Joshua Price, a 2027 Senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, is a physical, quick outside linebacker who is doing well this football season. As a 6’2″, 235 lb. athlete with a 3.5 GPA, Price has great physicality and speed, making him a great recruit for any college program. Price has been awarded MVP in the state of Maryland and has received a D1 offer from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

What are your current goals for this upcoming season?

“Lead my district in tackles and win all-state linebacker.”

What do you plan to improve this season?

“Reading my keys and adding more physicality to everything I do”

What are your current plans after high school?

“Go off to play college football and get my degree”

What’s one of your favorite on-field moments?

“My favorite moments are when I get a big 4th down stop on defense, a sack, or a big hit.”

What’s your favorite part about playing outside linebacker?

“The physicality.”

What sets you apart from other players from your area in your position?

“I’m a lot faster than others at my size.”

Who are your role models or mentors?

“My head coach, my Dad, some college trainers, and my corner.”

How have these people impacted your career on and off the field?

“They really put me on the right people, the right college exposure, what camps to go to, what I need to work on, and what I need to train.”

What does being invited to bowl games (like the Gridiron game) mean to you?

“It feels pretty good. It feels like my name is getting out there more and coaches believe in me and want to see me in person.”

What do you feel you could bring to a college-level program?

“I could bring assignment, leadership, physicality, and a lot of energy.”

What are your ultimate goals for life?

“Be really successful at whatever I do.”

How has football impacted your life?

“It’s impacted my life a lot. There are things it can get you out of, puts you in line, and gives a lot of purpose.”

“Baltimore Ravens.”

“Ray Lewis.”
