Westlake High School (Westlake, LA) RB/LS Dax Duhon is the tenth official commitment to play in the 2026 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will take place on Wednesday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana.
Duhon was one of our top camp performers and earned an invitation to play in the bowl game after a standout performance at our camp held at St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. There, he recorded a 4.25 shuttle which is one of the quickest at the camp. He also showcased his versatility during 1v1s, 7v7 as a pass catcher and route runner while also even long snapping at the camp as well.
“I thought it was a great camp. I thought it was one of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t like you are just standing in line all day to wait to get a couple of reps. You actually were able to compete, you learned stuff, and you got more time with the coaches.”
“It helped me notice the technique like how I should be running my 40, my running form, and if I need to be smoother. It showed me I got a long way to go.”

Although not a burner and not super big at 5’9, 195 pounds, Duhon is a tough, physical, patient, and deceptive runner that will make defenses pay if you are not careful. He is also a veteran long snapper that has been doing it for the Rams the last four years. Not only a standout multipurpose athlete for the Rams, Duhon is a standout wrestler too earning All-District honors and was in the state wrestling tournament last year.
Dax Duhon has a 3.75 GPA in the classroom showing that he is a true student athlete in the classroom as well. Although he is searching for his first college offer, he is really interested in LCU where he will be playing at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of the season.
“I take care of my business in school and on the field. I am physical and coachable. I’m just there to get what’s done. I’m going to be competitive.”
