Rayne High School (Rayne, LA) RB Chase Cary is the 15th commitment to play in the 2026 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will take place at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 30th.
“It means a lot. It’s a blessing to get looked at by college coaches and being coached and seeing the ropes. It is really a blessing to play in this game.”

At 5’9, 160 pounds, Cary is an All-District running back for the Rayne Wolves. Although not the biggest, Cary is a runner that has the ability to be a dangerous threat to score on the outside while at the same time is tough enough to run the football inside.
Head Coach Daniel Lotief was at our media day and talked about Cary’s versatility and how much he is featured in the Wolves’ offense.
“Chase is a great athlete. He is a football baseball guy that was one of two non-seniors to start on the baseball team that made the semifinals this year. It shows you that he is just a true athlete. I love to tell this story to anybody that listens. My first day at Rayne, Coach Guidry introduced me to the football team. I told the guys it was nice to meet them and I turn around and run into Chase and he says, “Hey Coach, I’m Chase Cary. Nice to meet you.” That to me holds a kind of weight to the type of kid he is. He’s a guy that’s played safety, outside linebacker, running back. We have two running back positions in the Wing T offense and he has played both positions. He’s gotten reps at quarterback as well. He’s done whatever we ask and more and trying to get everybody else better with him.”

Along with being a great athlete, Cary has a 3.2 GPA in the classroom. He is searching for his first college offer, but getting the opportunity to play for college coaches, he hopes to showcase his athleticism and versatility that Coach Lotief has raved about.
